Gideons Story

Gideon is a Great Pyrenees and was born on November 4, 2017. After he was weaned off of his mom, his first family was with an elderly couple. They didn’t realize how big he was going to be & did no training with him. Gideon is very rambunctious puppy & he became too much for them to handle so they chain tied him up outside in the hot Georgia heat for months on end.  One day, one of their family members visited their home & realized what they were doing to Gideon. The family member talked to the couple about giving him up for adoption & the couple agreed. The family contacted the Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta where Gideon he was surrendered. Allie attended Adoption Day & fell in love with 11 month old Gideon.

Allie needed assistance with Gideons obedience training. She sent Gideon to the best dog trainer in Georgia, Ruckers Dog Training. Gideon showed amazing progress & loved his new structure & direction. Gideon gave Allie a new found confidence & strength that she needed during that time.

Gideon has helped her through some of her worst times in her life. In Aug 2019, Allie had planned out her suicide because of all of the abuse she was enduring while in a relationship. 4 days before she was going to leave this Earth, Allie took a high dose of psilocybin & heard Gideon say “Stay strong, Im here to help you.” Allie is forever grateful for Gideons message. 4 months later, Gideon protected Allie from her abuser & saved her life once again. Thanks to Gideon, Allie & Izzy Mae are all safe & happier than they’ve ever been.

Allie is so grateful for Gideon’s protection & guidance. She knew that if it wasn’t for Gideon, she wouldn’t be alive today. She is so thankful for Gideon, she named her first business after him. Gideon crossed over the rainbow bridge on September 9,2022 & Allie will keep his memory alive & showcase just how amazing he was.
